History and success story of CGSML

This all success have been made possible only because of honest & fullest efforts of all our employees, support from our valued customers, suppliers, contractors, and dedicated team of honorary directors, including past and present Chairman & M.D who are working and devoting their valued time since beginning of CGSMLtd. without any expectation of monitory benefits including salary and any allowance.

In our country the cooperative sectors established before 106 years, and When Gujarat was departed from Bombay state in 1960 there was all ready 13959 co-operative sectors were established in various fields like Dairy, Agricultural, Marketing, Processing, Banking, sugar industries , Grahak Bhandar, District co operative sangh, Labour Sangh, Tree grouvers Mandali, Oil Mils...etc. Today more than 63000 co operative units in various fields are functioning in our state with the partnership of 1,50,000 members with Moto and vision of DEMOCRATIC MEMBERS CONTROL. Not only in india but co operative activities are active in 91 country of world, represented by Internatiomal co operative alliance, Giniva, Switzrland for 242 co operative units of world. We CGSMLtd - V.V.Nagar, anand is one of them and only co operative unit involve in distribution of Pipe Natural Gas in India and Asia, we all take proud of it.

The CGSML is founded in 1999 and started operating their office at Vaibhav complex, anand and started project of distribution of PNG in Anand, V.V.Nagar

Initially after getting all statutory permission from authority, we started laying of cross country pipeline from bavala to bakrol near V.V. Nagar

Initially supply of natural gas was flowed by pipeline from natural gas well of ongc / Ms Interlink petroleum ltd, baroda.

Like this we started distribution of gas from V.V.Nagar / Anand by C.G.D network and the vision of Mr. Chimanbhai M. Patel was put into operation and not only India's but Asia's one and only one co-operative Mandali came into existence for distribution of natural gas by pipeline.

Young and dynamic team of technical and commercial directors along with the enthusiastic team of CGSML engineers and commercial had started expansion of CGD network. We first time flare the natural gas at Bakrol PRS station on 23rd June 2001.

CGSML started business with very small share capital of Rs 25 lacs with strong support of our bankers Ms CNSBL, Anand. After commissioning cross country pipeline of nearly 68 kms long including Sabarmati river crossing, Major canal crossing and Major railway crossing from Bavla to Bakrol and commissioning of CGD network our first year turnover was 1.08 crores. Meanwhile our upstream and downstream network was expanding inline of progress continuously for almost 18 months.

Suddenly in 2002 our banker and supporter Ms CNSBL became weak and liquidated and our financial activities were just ceased. Further during same time the main natural gas providing well was also suddenly fail and stop emitting gas from the well and we started facing lots of problem of existence in the market.

In such a bad time we kept our confidence, hope and efforts constant to overcome these difficulties. In such a bad time Ms GSPC authority of government of Gujarat catch our hand and tie up with us to give gas tapping from Dahej to Jamnagar pipeline from their Gana SV2.

GSPC gas was poured in existing network and again domestic, commercial and industrial network became live and came on the track.
